작곡자는 빌 대노프(Bill Danoff)와 태피 나이버트(Taffy Nivert) 부부로 구성된 Fat City라는 듀오다.

원래 의미는 '그리운 고향길' 정도로 생각하는 것이 맞을 것이다.
